DHA Lahore – Public Notice

DHA Lahore has made the installation of CCTV cameras and firefighting equipment mandatory in residential and commercial buildings.

Key requirements include:

* 5–10 Marla: DCP fire extinguishers, CO₂ extinguisher, fire blankets, emergency lights and first-aid boxes.
* 1–2 Kanal: Additional firefighting equipment is required, including equipment for servant quarters.
* 2 Kanal and above: One additional 6 kg DCP fire extinguisher is required.

These measures are intended to improve fire safety and security in buildings.

Income Tax

Subject: Extension in Date of Filing of Income Tax Returns for Tax Year 2026

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 214A of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, the Federal Board of Revenue is pleased to communicate that the date of filing of Income Tax Return for Tax Year 2026, for the persons who are required to file their returns by September 30th, 2026 is hereby extended up to October 15th, 2026 in view of the requests from various trade bodies and tax bar associations.
